We were asked to create illustrations for printed tiles for a deli in Berlin called Rocket and Basil. They wanted the illustrations to reflect the main ingredients in their food, like pomegranate, lemons, rose water and figs and also elements from their heritage. The printed tiles were used within the white tiles to give pops or colour and interest. Below are some of the painted images used for the tiles, some additional art work and the tiles in-situ in the deli.
